We have designed a modular, multifunctional stirred reactor test plant (CSTR) used for investigating many homogeneous gas/liquid reactions.
The test plant shown in the picture is ideal for confirming preliminary laboratory results and for scaling up to medium or large sized technical plants
Gaseous oxygen is used in many gas/liquid oxidations, like, for example, in production of hydroperoxides, oxidative decarboxylation, or oxidation of toluene derivatives. There are two possible uses of oxygen for the oxidation processes: oxygen enrichment of oxidation air and complete replacement of air by oxygen.
